“ In most restaurants you would avoid safe choices like the roast chicken or chocolate pudding for being too boring, but at the River cafe they are odes to perfection and the sublime heights built upon such simple foundations remind you why it's worth the, admittedly high, price. Of course, everything else is spectacular too and the setting is amazing. ”

Great to see that they are using Coravin, with a strong selection of whites, reds and bubbles by the glass so you can treat yourself without having to buy a bottle. A glass of 2020 Barolo Riserva was perfect. I had the langoustines followed by the pigeon. Both were excellent. Saving up for my next visit! ”
